The center is the myth. Dashed red spokes are fields with a named, dated dismissal on record; dotted grey spokes are fields nobody bothered to dismiss — they were just ignored. Green edges are what each field actually became. Where two or more unrelated fields converge on the same application — watch for quantum mechanics, reached independently via matrices (1925), groups (1928), and Hilbert spaces (1932) — the application node has multiple green edges landing on it. Click any node to open its field page or source; drag to rearrange; hover for the one-line story.
Full citations for every node are on the Sources page. Field detail (founding date, exact dismissal quote or its absence, confidence grade) is on each field's own page, reachable from the Ledger.
